2017 DAFTA winners

Over 130 people attended the 4th annual DAFTAs Awards ceremony on Sunday 18th June 2017.

Unfortunately a problem with the sound meant that we were unable to screen all the films entered.  In the absence of an audience vote the winners were decided by the votes of our panel of judges.

This year’s DAFTAs went to:

Kenny Maul (over 16) for “Craning In”
Coleen Brennan (Documentary all ages) for “Madrid Travels”
DPS Class P6b and Susan Mowatt (Collaboration) for “Alexander Graham Bell”
Ben Wall (under 12) for “Dr Who and the Chip Stealers”

The DAFTAs will be back next year (with brand new projecting equipment!)  in the meantime, all the films entered for this year’s DAFTAs can been seen on The DAFTAs 2017 Vimeo channel.
